Create your own Sportsmate or Mii character and travel to the iconic Wuhu Island, where tournaments, training sessions, and multiplayer competitions await. Taking advantage of the Joy-Con 2 controllers, the game makes extensive use of motion controls, controller tilting, and new hardware features.

The game features 12 different sports, including tennis, bowling, golf, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, boxing, archery, skateboarding, prop plane flying, power cruising, and even the humorous Thumb Wrestling mode. Alongside solo activities, players can enjoy local and online multiplayer matches as well as additional warm-up mini-games.
