CONTROL Resonant for PS5 is the continuation of Remedy Entertainment’s acclaimed Control, taking players into a Manhattan engulfed by a supernatural crisis. This time, the main protagonist is Dylan Faden — the brother of Jesse Faden, familiar to fans of the original game. After spending years in isolation, Dylan finds himself at the center of a new catastrophe where reality itself is beginning to collapse under the influence of an unknown cosmic force. Players will explore vast districts of a transformed Manhattan, confront dangerous anomalies, uncover secrets of the Federal Bureau of Control, and search for the missing Jesse.

Unlike the original game, CONTROL Resonant places a greater emphasis on RPG mechanics, character progression, and melee combat. Dylan wields the transforming weapon known as Aberrant, capable of changing its form during combat, while his supernatural abilities can be developed through an extensive talent system and multiple combat styles. Players will encounter large open exploration zones, optional side missions, powerful Resonants, and numerous ways to customize and develop their character.

The world is filled with gravity anomalies that distort space and alter the laws of physics. Players must navigate twisted districts of Manhattan, make use of vertical environments, solve environmental puzzles, and adapt to constantly changing combat situations. The combination of exploration, supernatural powers, narrative mysteries, and dynamic action creates an immersive experience that expands the Control universe in new and unexpected ways.
