Star Fox for Nintendo Switch 2 brings back one of Nintendo’s most iconic franchises nearly a decade after the last major entry in the series. Players once again take control of Fox McCloud, leader of the elite Star Fox mercenary squad, as he sets out to save the Lylat System from the threat of the mad scientist Andross. The game is a modern reimagining of the classic Star Fox 64, featuring enhanced visuals, expanded stages, new story sequences, and additional gameplay features.

The core gameplay remains focused on fast-paced space combat aboard the legendary Arwing fighter. Players will fly through asteroid fields, battle gigantic bosses, discover branching paths, and uncover numerous secrets. In addition to the single-player campaign, the game includes a two-player co-op mode, 4v4 online battles between Star Fox and Star Wolf teams, GameChat support, and Nintendo Switch 2-exclusive features such as Joy-Con 2 mouse controls.
